Wir finden, diese leckere und alte Schreibmaschine hat einen absolut fantastischen Dekorationsfaktor. Wir haben sie für diesen Zweck vielerorts gesehen, als wir kürzlich auf einer Reise nach New York waren. Wir fühlten uns stark inspiriert und haben uns beeilt, ein paar coole Exemplare zu ergattern.

Geschichte: Nicht viele Menschen wissen, dass die allererste kommerziell hergestellte Schreibmaschine der Welt von einem Dänen erfunden wurde. 1865 erfand der dänische Priester und Superintendent am Königlichen Institut für Gehörlose und Stumme in Kopenhagen, Rasmus Malling-Hansen, eine schnelle Schreibmaschine, die er nach der halbkugelförmigen Tastatur Schreibkugel nannte.

Dieses Exemplar wurde Berichten zufolge zusammen mit einem anderen, das wir ebenfalls gekauft haben, für Aufnahmen der Wallander-Serie ausgeliehen.
