This listing comes with the gong of your choice, stand, and a matching mallet.

The 8" Atlantis Gong is a reminder of the power of the sea and the magic that is found there. Sea Salt is cleansing, and it's also a key ingredient in the metallurgy of this unique gong. It holds a clear tone with unexpected swaths of overtones in the crash.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Chau Gong is small, but it's fun and full of sound! Tap this gong to get a classic, bell-like tone. Hit it hard for a big, jumping crash, full of volume.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Chocolate Drop Gong is a spin on the classic Chau gong. Unlike the Chau, it has a lathed outer rim and just a little chocolatey splash in the middle. It is a bright, joyous gong, with lots of celebratory splash when hit hard, and a fun, clean bell-tone when tapped.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Dark Star Gong is a mystery of the outer limits, a pulsating shadow, on the fabric of space-time. It has a bell-like note when tapped, and a mysterious, crashy wah when hit harder.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Golden Bao Gong is a polished take on the classic Bao gong style. These gongs are sought after for their clarity and focus. They feature a bell-like tone with a bright, joyous finish.

The 8" Ma Gong is a fully lathed gong with a flat face, similar to the Wind Gong, but with a thicker face and a rim on the outer edge. The thickness and the rim create a gentle, clear, bell-like tone. These gongs tend to be slightly deeper than other small gongs because of the added weight.

The 8" Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed gong, designed specifically for Gongs Unlimited. This is how a gong looks when it comes out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Subatomic Gong rings clear and true. It is a particle of delight, or wave-particle rather. The alternating lathed bands create a sound with joyful musicality to it.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

The 8" Wind Gong is fully-lathed, all shiny and bright. This design gives the gong a very bright, splashy tone when struck. It has fast attack, moving to a joyful crash quickly.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb

This 8.5” Hand Gong is perfect to hold in the hand, but also when you need a hand. It's style is similar to the pitch-bending Opera gong, in that the face is raised and the sound bends. But the face is a bit wider, so the pitch doesn't bend at such a feverish pitch. It's a more assertive and less shrieking call.

The 8.5" Jin Ban Gong is perfect to hold in the hand, but also when you need a hand. It's style is similar to the pitch-bending Opera gong, in that the face is raised and the sound bends. But the face is a bit wider, so the pitch doesn't bend at such a feverish pitch. It's a more assertive and less shrieking call.

The 9" Che Sui Gong has a beautiful clear tone. It sparkles the listener with lightness and music. It is similar to the Ma gong, but deeper in tone, perfect for calling your family to dinner.

The 9” Opera Gongs have a unique sound the world associates with Chinese Opera and other Chinese theater.

The front of the gong is distinctly forward from the outer rim of the gong. It is almost like two gongs in one, a front gong and a bigger back gong: two distinct tones tied together. This connection creates an ascending or descending sound. Often called “pitch-bending”, this up or down bend accelerates as the gong goes from one note to another, making the Opera Gongs a special experience.

The 10" Atlantis Gong is a reminder of the power of the sea and the magic that is found there. Sea Salt is cleansing, and it's also a key ingredient in the metallurgy of this unique gong. It holds a clear tone with unexpected swaths of overtones in the crash.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Atlantis Chau Gong mixes the classic look and feel of the traditional Chau gong with mystique and depth of our exclusive Atlantis gong.

The science of metallurgy and the art of the gongmaker combine to create a gong with differing coloration and varying pockets of harmonics throughout the gong. The classic lathing pattern brings balance and control to the overall sound, making this gong something special that's a must-have for sound alchemists, therapists, healers and musicians.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Chau Gong is small, but it's fun and full of sound! Tap this gong to get a classic, bell-like tone. Hit it hard for a big, jumping crash, full of volume.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Chocolate Drop Gong is a spin on the classic Chau gong. Unlike the Chau, it has a lathed outer rim and just a little chocolatey splash in the middle. It is a bright, joyous gong, with lots of celebratory splash when hit hard, and a fun, clean bell-tone when tapped.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Dark Star Gong is a mystery of the outer limits, a pulsating shadow, on the fabric of space-time. It has a bell-like note when tapped, and a mysterious, crashy wah when hit harder.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Golden Bao Gong is a polished take on the classic Bao gong style. These gongs are sought after for their clarity and focus. They feature a bell-like tone with a bright, joyous finish.

The 10" Lunar Flare Gong, like the ring of brightness around the Moon, is a mysterious light in the darkness. The rim helps to control and contain the overall tone, while the lathed bands add brightness to the overall sound. It is a joyous little moonbeam.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10" Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed gong. The added metal adds weight to the gong, adding depth to the tone and containing and controlling the crash. It is an electric, humming mystery.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 8 oz

The 10” Opera Gongs have a unique sound the world associates with Chinese Opera and other Chinese theater.

The 10" Pasi Gong is fully lathed like a Wind gong, but it has a rim and slightly thicker metal, adding depth and clarity. It doesn't crash quite as loud as a Wind gong, but it still has plenty of brightness and splash.

The 10" Shiny White Bao Gong is slightly different from our other lathed, Golden Bao Gongs. These gongs were originally hand-tuned, but they have since deviated from their original, perfect tuning. They sound amazing, like any of our untuned Bao Gongs, and they have a slightly different design from the rest of them.

The Sun Gong, what we at Gongs Unlimited call the Solar Flare Gong, is a less traditional Chinese Gong than some of the other styles. It’s a more recent design created by Chinese gong makers and is available to all gong sellers, so we felt compelled to put it in the Traditional section. It is basically a Wind Gong, but with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. The unlathed parts control the crash and splash, less than a Wind Gong. The rings concentrate the tones and it does not open up sound-wise like a fully lathed gong.

Approximate Gong Weight: 1 lb 4 oz

The 10" Subatomic Gong rings clear and true. It is a particle of delight, or wave-particle rather. The alternating lathed bands create a sound with joyful musicality to it.

This was more than I expected...
Format: Kindle
So...I finished this book at nearly 2am! It was just that hard to put down. I loved that it's set in the same world as Fates Hollow but in the future. Poor Pandora has been through so much but there's light at the end of the tunnel for her. She finally meets her dad and it turns out he's amazing. In order to help her learn about demon society and how to control her magic he sends her to the Demon Reform Academy. There she meets 2 awesome demons who help her and care for her. She also sadly meets her 3 tormentors. I will say though that while they do bully Pandora they also rescue her several times and defend her. They too have traumatizing pasts and can't see the good that is in front of them. Of course demon society needs to be shaken up too since that's part of the problem. I really enjoyed this read. I teared up a few times throughout the book but I liked the characters and that ending...well it looks like 3 in denial are going to need to grovel hard.

MUST READ BOOK!!
Format: Kindle
I was in a huge reading slump, when one of my favorite authors recommended this book in her readers group (The amazing Marie Mistry 🫶) and I absolutely DEVOURED this book. Now I’m in the club crying about having to wait until December for Term 2! This book is about a girl named Pandora who has suffered a life that nobody would ever wish to have. This book is about Pandora learning how to live, learning about herself and what she really wants. She has a long journey to find out all of these things, but she took the first steps in this book and it was beautiful to read. Some of the men in this book are our dream men, Hunter and Reed 😍 and then we have the men who need some work and who we all really just want to beat up until they admit what they really feel, Skel, Bram and Dexter. But that cliffy was a killer and I absolutely cannot wait until the next book!! You have written an absolute dream of a book Lyra and I eagerly await the next installment in this series!!!

Addicting!
Format: Kindle
I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. I love that she’s literally the most scary type of demon but it’s not the usual “badass mc” persona (which I do love a badass that can fend for herself and kick ass from the start but it was a nice change of pace). I’m not usually a big fan of bully within the harem but each character has their reasons for their actions and also conflicting feelings about them. I adore Dex and Reed! Complete opposites but their personalities and inner monologues made them instant favs. I can’t wait to see the character growth with the guys and continued strength for Pandora. The captivating characters and references to the Fate Hallow series added so much depth and now I need another reread while I wait for book 2. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey. In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.

Best academy I've read this year
Format: Kindle
I need a few things when it comes to a first book of a PNR romance series 1-Good world building (which this totally did) 2-An FMC I can root for (oh hell yes, Pandora is someone I can cheer for) 3-Good drama (can you say GROVEL BOYS!) 4-Enough story to make you feel like you really read something with meat (you saw this book is like 600 pages, yeah?) 5-A hook at the end so I want more! (please, Lyra, gimmie more?!? I need more!!) Be aware this book is a slow burn, but damn do I feel like there'll be some big payoff when it finally happens. Who doesn't like the buildup?

Pandora’s Pain, Power, and Passion
Format: Kindle
I absolutely love this new world Lyra Winters has created! The spin on a Demon Academy setting was fresh, unique, and completely addictive. Pandora is a character who immediately captured my heart. Thought to be powerless and enduring years of brutal abuse from her mother, it’s no surprise that her powers emerge at the exact moment she needs them most. After her mother’s death, Pandora discovers her father is none other than Death himself, a soul eater with a dark legacy. Her journey at the academy is anything but easy, filled with challenges tied to her father’s infamous reputation, her barely controlled abilities, and the cruelty of those around her. Pandora is easy to root for, you feel every ounce of her pain, resilience, and growth. Along the way she meets Reed, a half-human dream demon who’s kind, steady, and the kind of friend everyone wishes they had. There’s also Hunter, a vengeance demon and counselor connected to her father, who adds another intriguing layer to her story. Then there are the bullies: Dexter, a brooding shadow demon; Bram, a chaos demon with a drinking problem and deep hatred for demon nobility; and Skel, a fear demon wrestling with his own darkness. They might hurt her, but they also can’t seem to stay away when she’s in danger, making for some deliciously complicated dynamics. This book hits so many of my favorite tropes: friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and of course, the irresistible “who hurt you?” storyline. I devoured it, and I’m already diving straight into book two!
