I would leave work early this day, but unfortunately, not for the reason I had initially planned. Around 12:40, I received a call that I would never forget. This is an account of some of my thoughts, experiences, and reflections that I dealt with during the next eighteen months. This is a memoir for my sister, Susan, and how I dealt with the tragedy of her death.
