Mirror, the band's 4th release on Fire Records, is an exploration of energies and atmospheres, from intense futuristic funk and sonic tape assemblages to windswept reflections from a far flung corner of the world. It combines Orchestra of Spheres' ecstatic rhythmic power and ritualistic vocals with an expanded orchestral palette including bassoon, harp, viola, bass clarinet, soprano sax, flute and bowed ektars.The album was recorded at Building M, the home and studio of Warwick Donald, a musician and engineer who's been recording underground local bands for many years. The band quickly put Warwick's collection of old New Zealand amps, mics and homemade reverb plates to good use. With the open recording set up and group interplay giving nods towards psychedelic jazz explorations. OOS dipped into Wellington's deep pool of creative musical talent to gather the additional timbres that take this musical journey into new sonic realms. Peter Daly's beautifully tense viola playing on the title track conjures a dark shadowy world. Great product and service after disappointment

Ive tried a few different brands of biltong and made my own. I have to say that this wasn't my favorite. Believe me, i wanted to like it. The taste was sour and most of the bag was pulverized shreds. :( I did find that letting a bit airdry in a bowl made it a little more palatable, but honestly it'sjust sitting in my fridge still, where normally I'd have eaten the whole bag in a day or so. I will say that there was a decent amount for the price. The texture and cut were good on the whole pieces. Also, some of the bites left a weird coating and nasty taste on my tongue, like baking soda or something, but definitely an off taste.
I had my own beef jerky store for several years, so I'm a connoisseur, but no snob.

I contacted customer service via the email on the bag and got a response. They sent me a new bag and here is the email I sent them back. Very happy now.
....The biltong showed up last Thursday! I'm sorry i kept forgetting to email you.
It is delicious. It's night and day difference between the bag I got through Amazon originally.
This bag was pristine and the taste is spot on. Every piece is a perfect slice, no shreds or fluff. Dark, rich brown color, not hay colored like the old bag. I really think that the other bag got very hot or something and out the taste off.
Thank you so much. Now I know that if I am in the mood for biltong, Ayoba-yo is a good choice.

Ayoba-Yo Traditional Beef Biltong
Flavor Name: Traditional, Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have been lucky to visit South Africa a few times in my life. What is not lucky is coming home to the United States and craving biltong. Biltong is a magical, sugar-free, barely processed jerky and once you try it, you will never want to eat American beef jerky again. Biltong made in South Africa cannot be imported to the States, which is probably the saddest thing ever. I have searched for the perfect recreation of what I have eaten while road tripping through the Karoo, and I haven't found anything that can match it. Until I got this Ayoba-Yo Biltong delivered to my door yesterday. My search is over. Ayoba-Yo is a match to the biltong in my memories. The meat is sliced thin and perfect for snacking. It is fresh, doesn't contain any gross preservatives, and the flavors are the perfect traditional blend. Try this biltong and make the switch, you won't be disappointed!

Biltong, any brand, is healthier for you than “beef jerky”.

Ayouba Biltong is soft and full of flavor without excess sugar, preservatives, and spices. Good quality: if you can get it on sale or with an Amazon subscription even better. Sometimes settling occurs and more small “shreds” of it than I’d like, but overall a great, good-tasting product. Per ounce? Hey no Biltong is “cheap”. This isn’t Jack’s Links, etc.

Sour moist meat
Flavor Name: Traditional, Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I had a hankering for jerky and found biltong instead. I didn’t know what made it different, but I was willing to try. I was very surprised how moist it was!! It’s better than the jerky here. If I wanted to gnaw on leather then I’d get my belt instead of paying money for dried meat. I liked that it didn’t have sugar. However , the flavor was confusing. It was mostly sour, like too much vinegar. Other reviewers mentioned that too and I must agree. I’m not sure how it’s suppose to taste but this experience makes me hesitate buying any more.
