Drawing upon pulps, magazines, novels, movies, radio shows, and comic strips, the Encyclopedia features virtually every fictional series cowboy who appeared from 1902 to 1945. The Encyclopedia has over 450 character entries from the United States and a variety of other countries, listing the characterÕs creator(s), where and when the character appeared, and a thorough description of the character and his or her milieu, allies, and enemies.
