This sweater is WASHABLE on gentle and tumble dry low which makes it the perfect wardrobe staple. We love the v-neck which allows you to show straps or shoulders as you choose, or not if you don't. The sweater is cropped, but not extremely, so it's the perfect length for your high-waisted jeans or pants. The sweater is knit in the round for the body, which is straight, making it easy to add length if you want it longer.  We love the hemmed edge which gives the sweater some weight at the bottom as well.  The pattern comes with a video on how to knit the hem, as well as how. to join the pieces to knit in the round. The sweater is simple to knit, so you'll be lounging in it in no time!

Gauge
AS KNIT: 28.5 stitches and 39 rows to 6 inches in stockinette st on larger needles. AS WASHED & DRIED:  31 stitches and 44.5 rows to 6 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles.This pattern is designed to be a wash gentle cycle and tumble dry low garment. Thee is shrinkage between the as-knit and washed and dried sizes. Sizing is  based on washed & dried fabric.

Construction
Hems are started and knit separately until formed and then joined together to knit the body in the round until the arm holes. The sweater separates to back and front after the armhole until the end. Sleeves are knit separately and then joined.

::   4 (5, 5, 6) {7, 7, 8, 9} skeins, 700 (790, 880, 985) {1090, 1230, 1320, 1485} yards Flax & Twine Daytime Linen Fingering Weight (100% 9.5/4 linen; 180 yds (165m)/2.6oz (75g)) in Ivory  XS (S, M, L) {XL, 2X, 3X}
:: 2 Stitch holders
:: Darning Needle, Scissors
::  Size 7 (4.5mm) needles or size needed to get gauge and Size 3 (3.25mm) circular needles or other size at least 1.25mm smaller than gauge needles to help make the hem

To be most clear, if you are choosing other yarn than what is suggested, the pattern has As Knit measurements and also assumes that you will wash and dry the 100% linen, so has As Washed & Dried measurements. The yarn shrinks up to about 10 - 13% after washing. Keep this in mind as you select sizes depending on what yarn you choose. If you choose 100% linen this should be consistent.
